Is Singletary the greatest second-round pick ever?

Share

Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary was selected 38th overall by the Bears in the 1981 NFL draft out of Baylor. He went on to lead their defense to the victory in Super Bowl XX, earned 10 Pro Bowl berths and earned the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award twice.

But is he the best second-round pick ever?

His competition is pretty good as well, among them are: Saints quarterback Drew Brees, former Packers QB Brett Favre, former Steelers LB Jack Lambert, former Raiders defensive end Howie Long, former Giants DE Michael Strahan and former Bills running back Thurman Thomas.
