Brent Seabrooks presence was felt in the Blackhawks locker room, even in his absence these past two games. Itll really be felt now that hes back in the lineup.

Seabrook will play in Game 6 as the Blackhawks try to stave off elimination once more against the Vancouver Canucks tonight at the United Center. It was welcome news for the Blackhawks and Seabrook, whos missed the last two games with a concussion he received from a shoulder-to-head hit in Game 3 a week ago.
They really get excited when they see a (Dave Bolland) and Seabs return and seeing them around and knowing they can help us, coach Joel Quenneville said this morning. As a coach you have a greater assortment of lines and combinations of guys who are accustomed to getting quality ice time. The guys themselves, they look forward to being a part of it and contributing.
Seabrook was hoping to play in Game 4 but he said he developed symptoms and was unable to go the past two games. He said Saturday he was frustrated to miss his first two games of the season at the most critical time of the year.
Obviously I want to be out there with the guys. I was talking with them and asking for another chance stop get into the lineup, he said. They played two great games. Theyve done an unbelievable job. Hopefully (Sunday)s a better day for me and I can get back in there and help the guys out.

In Seabrooks absence his teammates were motivated to keep the series going. His defensive partner, Duncan Keith, had his best two games of the playoffs and the Blackhawks banded together to try and give Seabrook another chance to play this postseason.
He just wanted another chance to play and we wanted to give it to him, fellow defenseman Chris Campoli said. We had to find a way to stay alive in the series and its not easy playing without one of your best players. Hes a competitive guy, we know that. He was open about getting another chance. So far weve been lucky enough to give it to him.
