Report: Noah out for Game 5

Joakim Noah missed Game 4 Sunday afternoon due to a sprained ankle he suffered in Friday night's Game 3 loss to the Sixers. If the Bulls are going to extend this series, it looks like they're going to have to do it without Noah.

According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, Noah's ankle sprain is severe enough that it will force him to miss Game 5 Tuesday night in Chicago.

Despite getting rid of the crutches, Noah was sporting a walking boot on the sidelines during Game 4. After the loss, Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau talked about what the team is missing by not having Noah on the court.

"Jo's a much better shooter than he's given credit for and can knock down those 16-foot shots pretty consistently. That opens things up for you."

Reserve center Omer Asik started in place of Noah and recorded just one point and six rebounds in 22 minutes of play.
