WATCH: Buckner on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' appearance

Former Cubs first baseman Bill Buckner, who is currently the manager of the Brockton Rox, called into "The Dan Patrick Show" on Wednesday and was asked which of his former teams he would most like to manage (Cubs, Red Sox or Dodgers).

"I would have to say the Cubs, because that environment would be pretty crazy," Buckner said. "I'm actually going to try to see if I can manage in the Cubs organization next year. They have a team in Boise."

Do the Cubs know about his desire to coach the Class A affiliate?

"I just had primary conversations, I live right there and it would be a good fit," he said. "I think I would enjoy that very much."

Buckner's Rox are currently 25-22 this season in the CanAm League and have clinched a playoff spot.

Mark Johnson, a former White Sox first-round pick as well as a Cubs minor leaguer, is the current Boise manager and has guided the Hawks to a 19-19 record.

Do you think Buckner would be a good fit in the Cubs organization?

"The Dan Patrick Show" airs Monday-Friday from 8:00-11:00 a.m. on Comcast SportsNet.
