NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Cincinnati Bengals by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
CINCINNATI BENGALS (16)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 16) - Just when they were rolling
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 10) - Their season could come down to beating Steelers in season finale.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 16)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 16) - Stunned they couldn't close out the Cowboys last week.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 15) - Bengals blow nine-point lead against Cowboys and need to recover quickly. At Philly is no lock, and then it's at Pittsburgh and home to Baltimore. Bengals on the bubble right now.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 16) - The key to the playoff hopes of the 7-6 Bengals rests in Pennsylvania. Cincinnati visits the Eagles and Steelers in the next two weeks.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 15) - That last loss really hurt. Now the Bengals have no margin for error, only they still have Baltimore and Pittsburgh on the schedule. Bam-humbug.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 15) - A resurgent defense took a big step backward against the Cowboys.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 15) - The Bengals are a promising young team, but need to learn how to beat good teams. Left on the schedule are games with Pittsburgh and Baltimore and Andy Dalton is 0-6 against them in his career.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 16) - The Bengals had the Cowboys down, but couldn't finish them.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 13) - The Bengals squandered too many opportunities for touchdowns in a 20-19 loss to Dallas.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 12) - Their litmus test will be against the Steelers in two weeks, but they can't overlook the Eagles on Thursday.
