NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (20)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 18) - It was fun while it lasted.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 22) - Things have soured for Greg Schiano. Bucs may be worn out.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 22)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 19) - What happened the last month? Four straight losses, and a big reason why is their 32nd-ranked pass defense.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 21) - Josh Freeman with one of his worst games ever, a four-interception, one-fumble debacle that conjures memories of the awful Bucs teams from decades ago.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 21) - Since winning an NFL championship in 2002, the Buccaneers have had three 1,000-yard rushers and all did it as rookies: Carnell Williams in 2005, LaGarrette Blount in 2010 and Doug Martin this season.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 20) - The year's not even over, and already players are grumbling about "college coaches." They should be more concerned about that four-game swoon.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 20) - A late-season slide threatens to overshadow real progress.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 18) - They got a taste of early success under the Schiano regime and it will continue to grow, but they just aren't ready for the step up into the playoffs.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 20) - The loss of front line players to injuries, suspensions and trades is starting to reveal itself for the Bucs. A year away for this team, which will be tough to deal with next year provided Josh Freeman shows improvement.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 19) - Josh Freeman (five turnovers) had his worst outing since his 2009 rookie season in a loss at New Orleans.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 22) - If only they would have gone after the Saints the way they were going after one another on the sideline.
