NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Dallas Cowboys by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

Chris Berman (ESPN, 10) - Five of six makes this quite a different stretch run.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 12) - Impressed by their toughness, particularly Dez Bryant, who is shining.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 12)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 12) - Winners of five of last six behind the hot arm of Tony Romo ... can he keep it going?

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 9) - A second straight Tony Romo comeback against an AFC North opponent - this one with an assist to Brandon Carr on an OT interception - and the Cowboys are in the thick of the divisional and wild-card races.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 11) - The Cowboys have played in front of consecutive home crowds in excess of 90,000. They should extend that streak to three Sunday in their home finale against the Saints.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 10) - The Cowboys know how to get to the playoffs; they just don't know who's going to show up on their sideline if and when they make it.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 9) - Jerry Jones hasn't been this excited since the NFL's new TV contracts were signed.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 12) - The Cowboys look like a team with a single-minded purpose plus an inspirational performance from Dez Bryant. Jerry Jones please stay away from them for two weeks.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 11) - A gutty W against the Steelers.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 14) - From 3-5 to bona fide playoff contender, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett and quarterback Tony Romo deserve praise for not letting the season fall apart while Dallas faced both on- and off-field adversity.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 14) - All they need to do to win the NFC East is beat the Saints and Redskins.
