Corey Crawford was soaking up the media attention following the ChicagoBlackhawks morning skate. The Montreal native, who used to be a kid inthe Bell Centre stands, was experiencing the expected emotions when hewas on its ice.

Its a little weird, said Crawford, who will play in front of about20 family members and friends when the Blackhawks play the MontrealCanadiens tonight. Im excited and nervous, obviously. Ill probablybe nervous for the first five minutes (tonight). Its special to comeback here.

Its a special game for Crawford but also a critical one for him andthe Blackhawks. With just four games remaining, the Blackhawks stillsit in eighth place in the Western Conference, with Calgary and Dallastrailing by one and three points, respectively.

The Blackhawks lack of scoring has been a bigger problem thangoaltending lately. When they were winning, the Blackhawks were gettingcontributions throughout the lineup. Theyve been missing that.

We talked about getting ugly goals and playing our game and havingmore bodies and pucks at the net and scoring that way, coach JoelQuenneville said. Whether we get too cute or fancy or one line was theproduction, we need other guys to ignite our offense.

Briefly

Patrick Sharp is still progressing well off his left-knee injury andcould start skating in the next day or so, Quenneville said. DaveBolland, meanwhile, has shown a little progress from his concussion.
