CSN's David Kaplan is back for his weekly Kap's Best and Worst of the week, but this time, he's joined by producer Tom Cooper.
Kaplan and Cooper agree on their best of the week. Well, sort of.
"The best thing of the week is that no longer David Kaplan has to fret about what Ivy-League educated manager the Cubs will hire because they got Rick Renteria," Cooper said.
"For me, the best of the week is that the Cubs have a manager and I no longer have to be up late at night stalking scouts and GM's around the country trying to get scoops on who the Cubs might hire," Kaplan said. "[I'm] excited about Rick Renteria. Give the guy some players and let's find out what he can do."
As for the worst, Cooper wasn't a fan of Kaplan's socks. But Kaplan says the Richie Incognito and the Miami Dolphins story tops his list.
"The worst of the week for me, this insanity around the Miami Dolphins," Kaplan said. "This idiot Richie Incognito, Jonathan Martin now hiring a lawyer, who he may end up filing a lawsuit against the Dolphins. It's just a ridiculous joke. This whole situation that's blowing up around the Dolphins."
