The Carlos Marmol trade is complete.

The Cubs sent the much-maligned Marmol and international signing bonus slot No. 4 to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for reliever Matt Guerrier, the team announced minutes after completing a deal to send Scott Feldman to the Baltimore Orioles.

Reports surfaced Monday evening that the Cubs were nearing a deal with the Dodgers for Marmol, who was designated for assignment in late June.

Guerrier, 34, appeared in 34 games with the Dodgers and posted a 4.80 ERA in 2013. Over his 10-year career, Guerrier has a 3.54 ERA in 513 relief appearances and three starts.

Additionally, the Cubs dealt minor league second baseman Ronald Torreyes to Houston for the Astros' Nos. 2 and 3 international signing bonus slots.
