The following players qualify at catcher in standard Yahoo! leagues. Rankings are based on a 5x5 scoring system (batting average, runs, home runs, RBIs, stolen bases).

1. Buster Posey, Giants
2. Yadier Molina, Cardinals
NOTE: Best overall backstop in game.
3. Carlos Ruiz, Phillies
NOTE: Would be MVP contender if Phillies were contending.
4. Joe Mauer, Twins
5. Matt Wieters, Orioles
NOTE: Getting to stardom, slowly but surely.
6. Mike Napoli, Rangers
7. A.J. Pierzynski, White Sox
8. Miguel Montero, Diamondbacks
9. Jesus Montero, Mariners
10. Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Red Sox
NOTE: Has platoon flaws but overall numbers are solid.
11. Carlos Santana, Indians
