Ryan Flaherty extended his hitting streak to three games Saturday night to pace Mesa to a 7-2 victory over Surprise.

Flaherty had three hits, including a double and an RBI. He also drew a walk. Hes five-for-11 over the three games and has hit safely in seven of the 10 games in which he has appeared.Brett Jackson also made his AFL season debut. He had a double, an RBI and scored a run.

Chris Carpenter, Kyle Smit and David Cales each pitched a scoreless inning for the Solar Sox as did Philadelphias Justin DeFratus, who struck out a pair.
