Hinrich out against Nets

Bulls point guard Kirk Hinrich will miss Saturday nights game against the Nets at the United Center with a bruised left knee.

Hes out, Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said prior to the contest. Day-to-day. Hes feeling better, not quite ready.

According to a source, Hinrich dressed for Saturday mornings shootaround at the Berto Center, but couldnt participate, as he has lingering elbow and ankle issues to go with the knee injury.

Thibodeau said Nate Robinson will start in Hinrichs place, though rookie Marquis Teague could see significant playing time after a breakout performance in Wednesdays road win in Philadelphia.

Hinrich could suit up in Mondays road game at Memphis, according to Thibodeau.
