Keith continues assist surge at World Championships

Duncan Keith continued to be among the leaders in points at the IIHF World Championships, picking up two more assists in Canada's 5-1 win over Belarus on Tuesday.

Keith and former Blackhawk Andrew Ladd assisted on the opening goal of the game by Ryan O'Reilly. After Belarus tied it at 1, Keith and Ryan Getzlaf assisted on Corey Perry's goal to make it 2-1 in the second period. Patrick Sharp picked up an assist on a goal by Edmonton's Ryan Nugent-Hopkins that made it 4-1.

Niklas Hjalmarsson was the only Blackhawks member of Team Sweden to earn a point, picking up the primary assist on a goal by Johan Franzen in Sweden's 4-0 win over Latvia.

The Czech Republic crushed Germany 8-0, but Michael Frolik did not earn a single point in the match.
