The NBA All-Star game will return to New Orleans in 2014.
According to the Times-Picayune, David Stern will award the city the game when he introduces New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson as the Hornets new owner.
New Orleans last hosted All-Star weekend in 2008. It was the first major sporting event in the city since Hurricane Katrina.
As part of a new lease agreement between the state and the Hornets that will keep them in New Orleans arena until 2024, a future All-Star Game was included.
The 2013 All-Star Game will be held in Houston.
