The Chicago Blackhawks are in a situation where every game is a must win. And with all things at their most critical, they could be getting their biggest offensive weapon back in the lineup.

Patrick Sharp, who has missed the last seven games with a left knee injury, could play tonight when the Blackhawks host the St. Louis Blues at the United Center. Sharp, who has 34 goals this season, skated briefly on Tuesday and again this morning at the United Center.

He felt good, hes going to try it in warm-up and see if he can go tonight, said coach Joel Quenneville. Were encouraged. We talked to him, we saw him on the ice there, he felt good and he looked good.

The Blackhawks could certainly use the boost offensively. The Blackhawks have 13 goals in the seven games that Sharp has been sidelined; they have just five goals in their last four games.

Meanwhile, forward Troy Brouwer, who suffered a right-shoulder injury against the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night, is listed as day to day. Hes out for tonights game.
