Chicago Sky players Sylvia Fowles and Elena Della Donne are taking the WNBA by storm.
Both players have received prestigious WNBA honors recently. Fowles earned the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for the month of September, and Delle Donne earned the Rookie of the Month for September and has won the award every single month of the 2013 season, according to the team's website.
Fowles, a six year veteran, helped the team set records this season. She averaged 15.6 points, 11.6 rebounds and boasted a 56.9 percent shooting percentage during the month.
Delle Donne becomes the second player in WNBA history to sweep the award for Rookie of the Month, joining Tina Charles in 2010. She averaged 17.2 points and 33.6 minutes per game, which led all rookies. Her averages of 5.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks for the month were second among rookies.
