MILWAUKEEAfter midnight, Carlos Marmol walked through the Cubs clubhouse with a big wrap around his right leg.
Marmol was scheduled to go back to Chicago for an MRI after leaving Fridays game with a hamstring strain. That - combined with an 8-7, 13-inning loss to the Milwaukee Brewers - had the Cubs considering the disabled list as an option.
Hes pretty sore, manager Dale Sveum said. Theres a chance were going to have to DL him, especially after the way the game went.

Marmol, who lost his job as closer last week, got two quick outs in the seventh inning, though he needed David DeJesus to slam into the right-field wall and make a nice catch.
Marmol walked Ryan Braun before giving up an RBI double to old friend Aramis Ramirez. Sveum and assistant athletic trainer Ed Halbur visited the mound, where Marmol threw a couple of warm-up pitches before shutting it down.
He was trying to say he was OK, Sveum said. But then he was pitching and you could tell in his face he wasnt right, even though the ball was coming out of his hand.
Sveum brought in Michael Bowden, who couldnt stop the big inning as the Brewers scored four runs and regained the lead. Marmol was charged with two runs, pushing his ERA to 6.35.

Right now, James Russell is the only lefty in the bullpen. Scott Mainewho gave up one run and notched 10 strikeouts in five appearances with the Cubs earlier this seasoncould become the second left-handed option if they call him up from Triple-A Iowa.
