In addition to his recovery from ACL surgery, Bulls superstar Derrick Rose has also been keeping busy with his new sneaker collection, the adidas D Rose 3 signature shoe.
The final edition of the Chicago's native's latest line, called "Nightmare," has a limited release, is available to consumers on Christmas Eve and has a purple colorway and other features, such as a glow-in-the-dark outsole and the shoe's release date inscribed on the tongue.
Clearly, however, Rose has other priorities at the moment. The 24-year-old point guard was seen after Monday's Bulls practice at the United Center going through a battery of shooting drills and while he didn't display much lift, it's an encouraging sign for fans.

A person familiar with the situation told CSNChicago.com that while Rose isn't taking contact or doing intense drill work, he has progressed to the point that he is able to go run through the team's offensive sets with the "early group" before practices.
While this might suggest that Rose's return is imminent, his timetable to even return to practice remains up in the air, as the most optimistic guesses hint that he could play approximately the final 30 games of the regular season -- meaning he'd be back prior to the All-Star break, after which most predictions have slated him to return -- but others still believe he could sit out the entire campaign, depending on the state of the Bulls upon his readiness to play.
Nobody but Rose knows exactly how his body is feeling and although his famed drive and determination could have him yearning to play again within the next month or two, the Bulls' medical staff and management team will have to concur.
