Forget the question "What came first the chicken or the egg?", and ask yourself "Who's faster? A cheetah or Bears return specialist Devin Hester?"
The answer will soon be revealed during the Big Cat Week in November on Nat Geo Wild.
Hester will race a cheetah during a special called "Man vs. Cheetah" to jump start Big Cat Week.
"The whole idea of racing next to a cheetah for Nat Geo Wild was a very unusual proposition," Hester told TheWrap.com. "But it was something I was ready to take on to see if I could get an edge on."
Hester, who holds the all-time record for the most kicks and punts returned for touchdowns, will be joined by the "fastest player in the NFL" and Tennessee running back, Chris Johnson. Johnson runs a 4.24 40-yard dash and has the longest broad and highest vertical jump in the NFL.
Hester will demonstrate his ability to stop and maneuver by running four lengths down and back. Nat Geo explained this to be a test designed to reveal significant weaknesses in cheetah evolution and physiology.
Who will come out on top, the Bear or the Cheetah?
