The Bears lost the turnover battle and trailed, 30-24, with less than two minutes remaining, but Jay Cutler's 18th career fourth-quarter comeback ended with a touchdown pass to Martellus Bennett to give Chicago a 31-30 win over their NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings.

Former Bears quarterback and analyst Jim Miller said the adversity the team needed to overcome the deficit in poor weather conditions will be beneficial later in the year.

"It took everybody for the Bears to get this victory," Miller said on Bears Postgame Live, "and to me that is only going to build and grow for the Chicago Bears."

Though he threw two interceptions, Cutler was at his best when the Bears needed him to be. On the final drive, Cutler went 7-11 for 76 yards and the score to Bennett, a 16-yard strike to the tight end's back shoulder. Cutler found four different receivers during the drive, including a key 3rd-and-4 pass to Brandon Marshall that picked up 12 yards.

"We have Mr. Fourth Quarter on our side, in our huddle: Mr. Jay 'Cut.' And I'm just excited to have him in our huddle," Marshall said. "He makes everything so easy."

For Cutler, it was just another step in the right direction toward mastering new head coach Marc Trestman's offense.

"We're test-driving out there a little bit, and it's fun," the quarterback said. "Those guys, they had some big days out there, got some guys that want the ball. We come off, every single one of them."
