With the NFL season officially underway, it's time for fantasy football users to make their last-minute adjustments before the remainder of Week 1 matchups kick off on Sunday.
Rotoworld's Kay Adams joined Pat Boyle on Bears Blitz and discussed which Bears players she thinks belong in starting lineups, as well as the overall hype surrounding Chicago in 2013.
"I think the Chicago Bears are getting the hype they deserve," she said. "At Rotoworld they were the No. 1 drafted defense this season, so that's saying something."
In terms of selecting a quarterback, Adams expressed a lot of confidence in Cutler going into this season — whether he's on a roster as a starter or backup. But as far as Sunday's matchup goes, she wouldn't recommend taking Cutler off the bench just yet.
"I have been touting Jay Cutler all preseason and offseason, I think he finally this year gets over 4,000 yards," Adams said. "I believe in Marc Trestman's quarterback-guru offense. He's gonna get the ball, pass the ball, it's gonna be great. However this week, it's not going to be the week he showcases that against Cincinnati."
And as far as fantasy sleepers go, Adams is keeping an eye on one Bears wide receiver.
"I like Alshon Jeffery. He was sidelined with some injuries last season, but he's a developing wide receiver," she said. "I think they're gonna try to get him the ball, I think he's gonna break out this year."
