Imagine Brian Urlacher in a Packers uniform. That'd be like Brett Favre donning the dark blue and orange of the Bears, right?

After Urlacher announced his retirement earlier this week, SportsPickle, a satirical sports news site in the same style as "The Onion," published a story Thursday saying the Bears icon would sign a one-day contract with the Packers to "go out as a winner."

It was a very funny piece that even Bears fans can get a good laugh at.

Only one TV station took the story as gospel and published the news on their bottom-line ticker.

During a college baseball game, NESN had their ticker scrolling across the bottom of the screen and under the Top Stories section, wrote "Brian Urlacher signs one-day contract with Packers, then retires to 'go out a winner.'"

Classic mix-up.
