With Jared Allen in the fold, are the Bears now one of the teams to beat in the NFC?
Obviously the Seattle Seahawks have the main target on their backs as the defending champs. But the Bears could be climbing the ranks.
CSN's David Kaplan brought the question up on Tuesday's SportsTalk Live and it sparked an interesting debate, especially considering Jay Cutler and Co. will be in their second season in Marc Trestman's offense.

The Bears have one of the best offenses in the NFC, better than the San Francisco 49ers. But the Niners' D is significantly better than the Bears' unit, even after Phil Emery's makeover on that side of the ball.
What about Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers? Or Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints? Or the Carolina Panthers?
