According to Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune, the Bears will likely be without Marion Barber's services in the team's season opener on Sunday.

The running back, who the Bears signed this offseason, suffered a calf injury in the team's third preseason game.

Kahlil Bell, who was inactive for all 16 games last season, is expected to fill in for Barber.
