There will apparently be a battle between Muggsy Bogues and Shaquille O’Neal this Sunday in Washington, according to one Chicago Bears' player.

Tight end Martellus Bennett referred to himself as Shaq and compared Washington Redskins linebacker London Fletcher to Bogues, when answering questions on Thursday.

“It’s like Muggsy Bogues getting posted up by Shaq, I feel like I have an advantage with my height," Bennett said. "He [Fletcher] is short but he’s been doing it for so long that I have to be on top of my game.”

While Bennett made a few jokes to reporters, he knows it will be a tough playing against the All-Pro linebacker on Sunday.

“It’s not just an athletic game, it’s a mental game against Fletcher," Bennett said. "He knows all the patterns and concepts; he’s played 245 games straight. I have to be mentally prepared for this battle.”
