The Bears added a pair of safeties to the mix Tuesday afternoon, inking Danny McCray and Craig Steltz to one-year deals.
Steltz has spent his entire six-year NFL career in Chicago while McCray played four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
McCray, 26, only has 10 NFL starts, but he's appeared in 60 games. As a starter in 2012, he racked up 87 tackles, an interception and five pass defelections. The LSU product has also had an impact on special teams with 73 stops on the unit in his career.
Steltz has started eight games for the Bears, appearing in 77 contests over his career. He has 97 total tackles, one sack, one interceptions, two pass deflections and three forced fumbles over his six seasons. He also has 58 career special teams tackles.
Another LSU product, Steltz played all 16 games with the Bears last year.
