As day two of the 2015 NFL Draft wraps up in Chicago, former Bears linebacker Dick Butkus is rehashing some memories of his own, a far cry from those that today's draftees may have when they look back on their careers years from now.
On Friday, Butkus joined the Kap and Haugh Show to reflect on the draft process in 1965 before being selected by the Bears, a stark contrast to today's method.
"We didn't go anywhere [when we got picked]," Butkus said. "The night before I knew I was going to get drafted and where. I committed the day before the draft."

The eight-time Pro Bowl selection also reflected on his first conversation with George Halas and being molded by George Allen.
"It went fine," he said. "George Allen took me right in and started showing film. I just played regular defense and ran around and made a bunch of tackles in college. He'd show it to me and mix it all up, and I was just guessing wrong."
