You don't earn the nickname "Primetime" by being just an ordinary athlete. Deion Sanders is a Hall of Famer and arguably the greatest trash talker in sports history.
So when Sanders passed on Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall for Dez Bryant, A.J. Green and Antonio Brown in the first ever NFL Pro Bowl Draft, Marshall engaged in a little trash-talking of his own.
"You couldn't guard me and those DB's you picked couldn't guard me," Marshall said.
Just imagine if Marshall was born about 15 years earlier. "Primetime" vs. "The Beast." That would have been one heck of a matchup. Instead, football fans will have to just enjoy dreaming about this hypothetical showdown.
