Free agency is the best of times and the worst of times.
Franchises can sign new players that could excited fan bases and improve the roster. But there's another side to the offseason, where long time veterans get shown the door by teams they've spent their entire careers with.
Bears running back Matt Forte joined SportsNet Central to talk about how difficult it was to say goodbye to guys like Devin Hester this year and Brian Urlacher last year.
"It's tough," Forte admitted. "You get attached to those kind of guys. The fans get attached to them as well."
