The Bears have signed linebacker and standout special teams player Jordan Senn to a one-year deal.
Senn has appeared in 83 games with seven starts, recording 88 tackles, one interception, two pass break-ups and three forced fumbles during his time with the Indianapolis Colts (2008-09) and the Carolina Panthers (2009-13). Senn was a key contributor on special teams in 2013, recording six special teams tackles and one defensive stop. He also served as special teams captain with the Panthers last season.
Senn, an undrafted free agent out of Portland State in 2008, could help fill the role of Blake Costanzo who is now a free agent.
