Bears rookie minicamp marked the first organized sessions with their 2014 draft class, undrafted free agents and 38 additional players brought in a tryout basis.
And two of those tryout players impressed the coaching staff enough to earn a more in-depth look this summer.
The team announced on Monday they have signed running back Senorise Perry and safety Marcus Trice.
Perry, an undrafted free agent out of Louisville, registered 677 rushing yards, 178 receiving yards and seven touchdowns during his senior year with the Cardinals.
Trice started 25 games in two seasons at North Texas where he compiled 153 tackles, seven interceptions, 10 passes defended, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Trice originally began his collegiate career at the University of Oklahoma.
The Bears also released punter Drew Butler and running back Willie Carter.
