The whole Bennett Brothers reunion in Chicago isn't going to happen:
According to ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio, the deal is worth $28.5 million over four years. Michael Bennett will earn $10 million in 2014 and $16 million is guaranteed.
Bears tight end Martellus Bennett continued to make a pitch to his brother, Michael, throughout Monday morning, as the two joined NFL Network on a joint interview. The Bears were said to have Michael as their top target heading into free agency, but the veteran defensive end apparently decided against that.
Martellus tweeted his response shortly after Michael's deal was announced:
Michael racked up 8.5 sacks as a part of Seattle's championship defense.
