Brandon Marshall has made it no secret that he wants to finish his career with the Bears.

Marshall will make a reasonable $9.1 million in the final year of his contract with Chicago in 2014. The Pro Bowl wideout should see a significant increase in his next free agent deal with his production on the field comparable to the likes of Calvin Johnson ($16 million) and Larry Fitzgerald ($15 million).

But money isn't the end-all factor for Marshall, who told the Kap & Haugh Show on 87.7 The Game Chicago that he hopes to stay in Chicago.

“I love being a Bear," Marshall said. "I want to stay a Bear. I don’t know their plans but I hope I’m in them and I think I will be.

"We appreciate Chicago a lot. The people have been great to my wife and me. We love it there and I hope to play there rest of my career."

While Marshall prepares for the upcoming season, he's gathered together a group of players that includes teammates Jay Cutler, Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffery, Kyle Long and others for daily training sessions at FitSpeed Athletic Performance in Weston, Fla.

Marshall shared one of his favorite stories from "Bears South" with the Kap & Haugh Show.

"We had a bunch of guys stay at a hotel by my house and I let Matt Forte stay in bunk beds in my house. And we don’t even have kids."
