Running back Michael Bush joined Kip Lewis on this week's Inside the Huddle following Sunday's 42-21 loss to the St. Louis Rams.

The Bears fell to 6-5 on the season. And on the flight back to Chicago, there wasn't much to say.

"It was pretty quiet," said Bush. "A lot of guys feel like we kind of left a lot on the field, a lot of mistakes, bad execution. And it was our game to win."

With the injuries the Bears have suffered so far, are injuries a factor because the NFL roster is so limited?

"Yeah, I think so," said Bush. "And because our team is also young as well. These guys don't really have the experience as Briggs do, and you want to play your role and taking care of your own position and gaps. So, injuries play a lot."

Despite the Lions and Bears having a 6-5 record, the Lions have the edge for the division lead.

"They're up on us because they beat us twice," said Bush. "So the more wins that we can rack up and get better, we put ourselves in the situation, to either at least get a wild card. So we have to keep winning, put these last games behind us, and move forward."

The Bears visit Minnesota on Sunday to take on the Vikings, who just came off a 26-26 tie against the Packers at Lambeau Field. The Bears know exactly what they need to focus their attention on.

"Yes, Adrian Peterson will shred us apart if we're not ready," said Bush. "He's just the man. The way teams have been running against us, there's no reason why Minnesota wouldn't come in and want to run the ball down our throat. We have to be ready."
