Adding insult to injury, Bears fullback Tony Fiammetta and guard Kyle Long each were fined $7,875 for conduct the league found unbecoming during the first-half incident during the loss last Sunday to St. Louis Rams.

Long was fined for his personal foul following an incomplete pass that saw him go after Rams defensive lineman William Hayes and, at one point, attempt to kick Hayes. Fiammetta drew a fine for grabbing a Rams player’s facemask amid the goings-on that included Long’s brother, Chris, running in from the bench to restrain Kyle.

Chris Long was not fined for leaving the bench area, the league determining that his role was as peacemaker rather than contributor to the problems.
