Who didn't retire for the 49ers in the offseason?
Every week in the offseason it seemed as if San Francisco was losing a new player or coach. Some of those moves, however, have opened up opportunities for younger players (Hello, Carlos Hyde) and new additions (Welcome, Torrey Smith).
Luckily for everyone, CSN Bay Area 49ers Insider Matt Maiocco didn't retire his laptop in the offseason and is still covering Jim Tomsula's squad. The CSN Fantasy crew brought Maiocco aboard to talk about a Hyde's new role in the offense, Kaepernick's expectations and (gasp) a return to dominance for Vernon Davis.
