Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was one of the best kept secrets in college football until his breakout season in 2013, which he capped off by winning the Walter Payton Award, given to the most outstanding offensive player in the FCS.

A local kid from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Garoppolo starred for Rollins Meadows High School before his stellar collegiate career with the Panthers.

As Garoppolo continues to prepare for the NFL Draft, he caught up with CSN's Luke Stuckmeyer in the AT&T U-verse Lounge on Thursday to discuss various topics ranging from his love for Portillo's, his favorite pizza place in Charleston and much more.
