For the last few years, Jay Cutler's been the subject of scorn stemming from a perceived lack of toughness.

As impressive as it was, coach Marc Trestman wasn't too big a fan of the "vicious" hit he absorbed/delivered.
"I was hoping he would slide, and he didn't," Trestman said. "Just thankful that he got up after taking the shot that he took."
