C.J. Fiedorowicz (TE), Iowa

6'5" | 265 lbs.

2013 stats:

299 receiving yards, 6 TD

Selection:

3rd round, 65th overall (Houston Texans)

What the scouts are saying:

"Big-framed, linear and dependable, Fiedorowicz looks the part and has balanced skills to be a legitimate 'Y' tight end in the pros. Is an asset as a competitive blocker and as a sure-handed receiver. Will be in demand in a relatively thin tight ends class." (Nolan Nawrocki, NFL.com)

"Good versatility, showing the ability to come off a down block to get past defenders as a receiver. Good body control and soft hands for such a large man, traits that have led Washington junior Austin Seferian-Jenkins to earn a lot of attention as a possible first-round pick. Fiedorowicz isn't as flashy as ASJ, but he's just as big and fast in a straight-line and is a much more physical and attentive blocker." (Dane Brugler, CBSSports.com)

"A slower Jason Witten. His ability to block is similar to Witten's, but Witten is a lot quicker than CJF. ... Fiedorowicz is not on the level of the top-tier tight ends this year, with Eric Ebron, Jace Amaro and Troy Niklas. But he is in the next slew of players, possibly in the top 75, depending where the other tight ends go." (edraft.com)
