As he does every week, Bears running back Michael Bush joined Inside the Huddle with Kip Lewis to discuss a number of topics on the Bears and the rest of the NFL. Here were the highlights:
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson suffered a tragic loss last week when his 2-year-old son was allegedly beaten to death by the boyfriend of the boy's mother. Bush talked about how teammates rallied around Peterson and what it was probably like for him during the game.
Eddie Lacy is proving his worth as a second-round draft pick, and Bush spoke about how important it is to have a solid running game that can complement a passing attack, specifically one as lethal as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
Bush talked about how more defenders are attempting to avoid hitting players in the head on tackles but, in the process, are taking dangerous shots at ball carriers' knees.
