Trivia time: What happens when you're in Illinois with a California license as a Los Angeles resident? Correct. You get escorted to a police station to post bail. Well, not really, but that's exactly what happened to Kristin Cavallari on Friday morning.

E Online reported that the cops pulled her over for speeding before realizing this incident. The wife of Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler wasn't aware of the fact that she had committed a crime, according to this tweet.

Cavallari sent a follow up tweet saying, "FYI...I still have an apartment in LA so I'm a resident of California." An Illinois law states that new residents have 90 days to receive a new license after moving to the state.

Cavallari was obviously released because, you know, she tweeted. And she paid $150 to get out.
