Chicago Bears running back Michael Bush commented on the extreme weather conditions during Sunday's game on Comcast SportsNet's "Inside the Huddle."
Bush revealed what the team did during the nearly two-hour rain delay in Sunday afternoon’s victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
“It wasn’t too bad. We did a 10-minute routine in the locker room,” Bush said. “But to me, the adrenaline is still pumping with a big game on the line, the guys were ready to go.”
The Bears’ No. 2 running back also discussed the condition of the field.
“It was tough. A lot of guys changed cleats to a thicker spike for traction,” Bush said. “It was bad. It was real bad like skid marks on the field.”
Despite the poor field conditions, the Bears pulled out a 23-20 victory in overtime.
