Nelson Agholor (WR), USC

6’0” | 198 lbs.

2014 stats:

104 catches, 1313 YDS, 12 TDS

Selection:

1st round, No. 20 overall (Philadelphia Eagles)

What scouts are saying:

"Like former teammates Marqise Lee and Robert Woods, Agholor sports a lean, athletic frame, good lateral agility to elude and sudden acceleration. Shows good quickness and balance as a route-runner and is asked to run a variety of routes in USC's pro-style scheme. Athletic pass catcher with sharp cuts, before and after the catch, and the body control to make fluid adjustments on the ball. Generally catches the ball cleanly with his hands and secures it quickly. Runs hard and picks up speed as he goes, showing surprising toughness as a finisher to get every yard he can. Possesses very good vision to set up blocks, as well as the courage and quickness to cut-back against the grain to take advantage of over-pursuing defenders." — Dane Brugler and Rob Rang, CBSSports.com

"Intelligent, instinctive receiver with an advanced feel for getting himself open against zone coverage and off man. Play speed doesn't match timed speed. Needs to force cornerbacks to respect him over the top. Agholor's best position could be working from the slot as a reliable possession receiver who can step right into the punt-returner job on Day 1." — Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
