The season is over for the Bears, so now it's time to prepare for the 2014 NFL Draft. The Bears will have the No. 14 overall selection on May 8 in New York City, which is why we are taking a look back at the past 20 selections by teams who were in the 14th position. As you will see below, the Bears owned the pick three different times, having mixed results with Chris Williams (2008), Tommie Harris (2004) and Michael Haynes (2003).

Two former members of the No. 14 club, offensive linemen John Tait (1999) and Ruben Brown (1995) were drafted by other teams, but later joined the Bears and helped them to a Super Bowl XLI appearance. Other notable selections at 14th overall are Darrelle Revis (2007), Jeremy Shockey (2002) and Eddie George (1996).

Although we only feature the past 20 years, it is of note that only two players who were drafted at No. 14 in the history of the NFL Draft have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame; Jim Kelly (1983) and Dave Robinson (1963).
