Cornerback Charles Tillman, who played through a knee strain in the Minnesota game, is being given time off this week, held out of practice on Thursday for a second straight day.

Joining him on the sidelines halfway through practice was wide receiver Brandon Marshall, whose back tightened up during practice. But Marshall hasn’t missed a game in more than two full seasons, and he is particularly unlikely to miss Sunday night’s contest considering the fan base he’ll have from his home town.

“Oh yeah. I probably could have got 100 tickets (for family and friends),” Marshall said. “Right now I’m up to like 40 and counting. That’s home. My whole (extended) family is there. We’re the only ones who moved down south. I’m excited to get back there and play in the city where I grew up cherishing the Steelers.”
