It's no secret that the Bears miss their All-Pro cornerback Charles Tillman and his insatiable appetite for causing turnovers.

But will Chicago get its beloved Peanut back in the lineup on Sunday against the Redskins?

"Still have to do what the doctors say," Tillman said. "If they say I'll be able to play then, yeah, I'll be out there."

Tillman has missed last week's game against the Giants due to groin and knee ailments. He's not the only Bear who has been bitten by the injury bug in 2013. Defensive tackles Nate Collins and Henry Melton are both out for the year with torn ACLs. Linebacker DJ Williams was the latest defender to be knocked out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle. Tillman said injuries are just a part of the game.

"It hits every team every so often," he said. "Right now, we're just that team that the injury bug is hitting right now."

Tillman's charity event, Celebrity Waiter Night, took place Monday night, benefiting the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation.
