On way out, Jordan Palmer calls Bears 'best org in the NFL'

Jordan Palmer won't be the Bears' backup quarterback this season. He even called himself a "former Bear" on Twitter Sunday night after news of his release broke.

But it was the tweet that followed that will make Bears fans always appreciate the work Palmer did as a reserve QB for the Monsters of the Midway.

On his way out, he called the Bears the best organization in the NFL:

It's a classy exit for a guy who lost out on his quest to be the Bears' backup quarterback Sunday. Reports indicated that Jimmy Clausen won the job to backup Jay Cutler, ending in Palmer's release.
