Moon's Week 5 Grades

Safeties Chris Conte and Major Wright were tasked with dealing with the game’s reigning tight end in Jimmy Graham plus run support with the Saints testing the depleted Bears interior. Conte finished with seven tackles and Wright with four, and Charles Tillman contributed seven stops in a variety of roles.

But Graham caught 10 of 11 passes thrown to him, and Drew Brees completed 29 of 35 passes for 288 yards without an interception or being sacked beyond one early sack by Nate Collins.

Brees completed passes to six different receivers, and the Saints, while posting four plays of 20 yards or longer, were not able to consistently break down the secondary.

For the first time in 2013, the secondary produced zero takeaways in a game where the Bears needed them as much as at any time this season.
