The Bears' defense gave up 258 rushing yards in Sunday's 42-21 loss to the Rams, including 8.9 yards a carry.
Those numbers elicited a predictable reaction from Bears All-Pro linebacker Lance Briggs: anger and disappointment.
On Tuesday's "Lance Briggs Show," the Bears' defensive leader shed some light on what he told the defense in the locker room after the game, preaching heart and desire.
Briggs said he is still shooting to return for the Bears' Dec. 9 game, but nothing is set in stone. He's still not tackling or lifting weights and appears to be some time away from practice, but said he will be checked out by doctors again this week.
